in generally I have played a looooot of characters where I sometimes feel stuck with them, either in that I’m not sure how to progress without an external push or in that I gotta play out stuff that I don’t find as fun a lot (Ardashir was actually very bad on BOTH these points, as much as I love him)
5. What is the most difficult thing about writing your current muse? for Reaper it was her speech patterns cuz I was never totally solid on them. I tend to have particular guidelines in my head for a lot of my ocs for how they talk and I had slightly more for Reaper’s old/formal speaking style but somehow I had even more trouble with it
I didn’t really know what her fake garbage speaking style should sound like at all besides some of the obnoxious emphasis she used and it bothered me Forever
but her real speaking style was like. supposed to be vaguely based on the kind of structure/word choices ppl associate with Bible translations but I never actually got off my ass to go read some Bible verses or anything to actually solidify what that should sound like in my head
in both modes I felt most confident with her voice when she was asking shitty leading/rhetorical questions but on the flip side I feel like sheer volume of leading/rhetorical questions ended up being another wall that made her harder to actually engage with,
but also mhyk being a new and ongoing series and Shylock being an extremely contradictory and convoluted character it’s hard to figure out how he’d react to things a lot
