I kinda respect that. They put a character on long enough for you to form an opinion and get invested, and then kill them.

How many times does Elena and Stefan circle around each other in each in a season? It's like once per episode.

She was so vibrant! Yeah. That was rather cruel... I mean, good ploy. But damn 350 years, that's a waste.

Seriously. I saw her for 2 eps, and damn that hurt. This show has 0 qualms about killing off characters and killing them fast.
