do you play games online with ppl? what tools do you recommend?
Vin
We sometimes play jackbox games, with the person who owns the games sharing her screen on Discord

I've always looked at those in sales but never bought. I bet they'll be on sale in this event.

I just set up a discord server, still learning how to use it
Charisma
Ooo good for you. I adore Discord. We use Fantasy Grounds and d&d beyond to play d & d once a week

I am trying to set up a d&d game. in over my head but ok with that.
Lyrical
I play lots in SL. Tabletop games are my favorite. SL is actually a nice platform for many games.

been reading up on fantasy grounds vs roll20, and in the process came across Foundry vtt. looks promising. there's a plugin that lets you import dndbeyond content
Vin
that sounds like fun

I played a lot on Roll20. Usually Dungeon Crawl Classics but also a little bit of 5e and other games. I like it. Video and voice can get spotty during peak concurrency so we've tried to use it in conjunction with Zoom but I generally prefer everything be in the same interface. This is strictly as a player, mind you. I've only ever DMed in person.

At this point we're not going to do video, just voice chat, so discord in the background should work well. I think Foundry has chat built in, but I'd rather have discord handle that bandwidth
