3. What do they think others like or admire about them? good question!

it's ... kind of hard when your identity revolves around being a superhero. he thinks that it's his heroism and otherwise good deeds. but sometimes, he just wants to turn off being hawkeye and just be clint barton, regular dude. but also, being hawkeye is really the only thing that gave him purpose...?

he's literally never had a life outside of it. beyond...you know. being a carny

he'll take heroics, though.

7. Have they ever done anything that they feel to be very morally wrong? i mean uh. yes? i can't pull up a whole list but given clint's history he has made a lot of wrong calls that have blown up in his face. not all the time, of course, but the things that do go wrong weigh heavily on him.

because he's supposed to be a hero. how is he supposed to be a hero if he fucks up on such a big magnitude?

also you know he killed bruce banner after bruce told him to do it in case he ever went hulk again but like thats neither here nor there and also i dont wanna read civil war 2

14. Have they ever doubted their own beliefs? (Spiritual, philosophical) oh tons of times LOL

but...i'd like to think that he's more or less remained steadfast in most of them. he's a stubborn bastard, and you can't really be a vigilante/superhero if you're frozen in doubt all the time

you kinda gotta....be really firm in your belief of right and wrong. and even if others don't necessarily agree with some of his methods, he remains firm on them.

20. What would they like to achieve before they die? i mean...this question is kind of weird because clint has already died before and then he came back to life LMAO

i think...clint doesn't really have a lot of long term goals. both because he hasn't really seen himself outside of doing avenger stuff, and also because he doesn't really know if he can accomplish the typical achievements a non-superhero might be able to

be happily married, have kids, etc etc

like yes he married bobbi morse and he was happy for a time but then that fell through

and all his other friends get divorced/have relationship problems because comics hate giving their characters significant growth and prefer to maintain the status quo I MEAN because being a superhero sucks

but beyond that. who knows. certainly not clint! if he thinks hard enough, he'd probably say some lame bullshit like "i want to make sure someone's around to take on the hawkeye mantle" but that's already covered with kate

so...to make a long story short, clint has no goals before he dies. and that's terrifying.

1. Do they think that they’re a good person? in all honesty? no.

as knuckleheaded as he can be, there's a small part of himself that berates him for being a horrible, horrible person. he ignores it for the most part by doubling down on his stupidity, of course, but it's still there.

a combination between both his actions at the cabin and all his subsequent behavior after that. when he isn't trying to distract himself through various means, i'd like to think that he takes some time to think about himself and how shitty he is. but, of course, those thoughts are fleeting before the next big distraction

he's aware that he's a dick, and he doesn't care.

7. Have they ever done anything that they feel to be very morally wrong? i mean, he did kill his friends and sister, but that was only because they were all possessed and tried to kill him. as far as he's aware, he was in the right. even if it does haunt him at every step, he did what he had to do

so, uh, no.

19. Could they ever forgive their worst enemy? unless the enemy has something REALLY GOOD to tell him for atoning for all their mistakes, then no. and even if they DID offer him that, he'd still be like

"hahaha no you were an asshole bye"
