My niece who had surgery a few weeks back is being taken back to hospital because of stomach pains.
Why?
Because her school made her do PE!

SHE HAD ABDOMNIAL SURGERY.

And the SCHOOL made her to PHYSICAL EDUCATION... When she still hasn't healed properly... WTF?!

We're livid. If they've caused any more damage to the girl there's going to be hell to pay.

Then again, come monday, my brothers gonna rain hell down on that school anyway. What kind of idiot makes a kid who's not long outta surgery do PE??

No idea. They were warned that she couldn't as well. Though apparently it was her mother who sent her to school with her PE kit so she's going to have some explaining to do as well.

Seriously. It's very possible that she figured that they'd go easy on her if they knew she'd had surgery. Which is a pretty safe assumption to make. I remember when I had surgery, it was recommended that I do some light exercise but I was still prohibited from anything strenuous until I healed.

Even so, when you have a kid recovering from recent surgery, it's probably best to just... supervise them extremely carefully and make sure they take it easy? Like that's common sense

You'd think so. Clearly her school doesn't give a crap. I dont know... All I can do is hope she's okay and whatever they had her doing hasn't ruptured something.
