[pets][cw: possible sickness?] NOTHING SEEMS SERIOUS ATM THIS IS JUST ME BEING CAUTIOUS

we got the cats pretty litter so we could monitor their health through the color changes

the range is red for high acidity all the way to blue for high alkaline

the yellow range is where ya wanna be

today while doing the litter i saw that some of it had turned blue

i looked up what potential cause of that could be and it's potentially UTI

i don't think it's sheba

just based on the fact that some of the litter had gotten on the floor by the litter box and had been used in both manners, and that's usually a sheba thing

either way i'm watching them both closely to see which one of them it is. neither of them are displaying any symptoms, they seem totally fine

so i'm just-- being Very Aware

the litter on the floor was not blue, i forgot to say that

ok i just witnessed sheba take a pee in the litterbox. it'll take time for the thing to change color, but i'll check in that spot tomorrow and see what's up

if it is sheba's pee that's turning blue, that's nothing we didn't already know about. apparently high alkaline is also a sign of stuff going on with their kidneys, which she's on meds for
