theres some surprisingly good stuff in the lootboxes too, in about 5 hours of fucking around we saw some crafted nidhogg and shinryu shit, general purpose dyes, the annoying craftable flower corsage hats...

it's fun! idk how well it will scale when the instances are less busy (it does Not scale enemies/spawns down when for example you queue only 4 people into a 24player critical engagement, we discovered this the hard way) but it's most of the stuff i liked about eureka fate train memes with more qol

bvvvv ok my second of two complaints so far is that they really need to implement some way of withdrawing from a crit once registered, i need to run castrum for the story quest and the one time we were in an instance with enough lv10+ people to even spawn it, a crit had just spawned maybe 30 seconds beforehand

it seems like a fairly large oversight even though it's probably not that easy to implement now

from a crit after registering? i didn't try but it was on cd and someone in shout was complaining it didn't work

but that's shout chat they're always flipping out with varying accuracy in na/eu
