Doubleplurk but w/e - Have any of you seen Monsterland on Hulu? What's the jumpscare content?

zero? Mild? Way too many?

it's got people in it I like, and it seems like my kind of anthology, but like, I will die if there are jumpscares

i'm gonna watch some today and will report back

and! As a clarification, things jumping at the screen/me or jumping out of nowhere at characters = jumpscare

that panning past where there's a critter/ghost/whatever and then it's gone when the camera pans back? That's fine

or it's just off to the side doing its own thing in the periphery only to be framed properly in the next shot, that's usually also fine

I've only seen the first episode. No jumpscare content whatsoever.

I mean, it seems like it's more atmospherically/thematically scary which is absolutely my jam, but sometimes it's hard to tell
