So how are people enjoying Genshin Impact? (and on what systems)

intrigued by the story, I can see where the fighting's going to get interesting, and it's freaking gorgeous

The combat is pretty nice, surprisingly deep for everyone just having a handful of abilities.

I think the only thing working against it is the fact that advancement is reliant on HEAVY grinding, or Gacha.

few days later and I do have to admit, the way they dress up the usual "mobage mechanics" (minus the gacha) is kinda creative

I opened up what are basically dailies and timed missions and neither feel too in my face so far

and boy does it make it easy to fall into "just one more X"

because you do X and see Y and bam three hours XD
