Can my character fight? ... Uh.
nonabridged
That depends on whether or not you count crushing people's hearts with her mind as fighting
nonabridged
But otherwise no, definitely not. Not that she couldn't, because she's got magic coming out of her ears and would probably be an incredible combatant if she ever decided to actually build up any of those talents
nonabridged
She's just. A gentle babby who's been stuck indoors her whole life with no training and no particularly violent inclinations
Oathkeeper
Yeah like if one means others fighting for her in her defence yes
nonabridged
There is that too, yes
nonabridged
She is eminently protectable even without using her powers to manipulate people, which she also could technically do
nonabridged
Even if she couldn't directly influence the people fighting her to stop, she could definitely call in the cavalry with said powers/convert anyone susceptible to her side
Oathkeeper
Yeah. There are reasons I maintain she really is probably one of if not overall the most powerful
nonabridged
This is very true, and I concur
nonabridged
When one character could theoretically oneshot the entire rest of the cast that would generally be my assessment as well
Oathkeeper
Exactly so imo while she has no training herself she is still powerful potentially in a fight?
nonabridged
Potentially, yes :|b Under the right conditions especially so
Oathkeeper
Yeah. And like she has memories of Sora and how he grew up sparring and then learning to use the key blade
nonabridged
This is true. I generally assume she has some secondhand knowledge from a lot of his and Riku's memories. And Goofy's, Donald's etc etc.
nonabridged
She's got a significant head start in that respect where it comes to learning those skills, she's just gotta piece together what she knows and add to it/put it into practice
Oathkeeper
Yeah so I imagine she could possibly pick some of that up at least with the basics if she wanted/had to?
nonabridged
That's the direction I tend to take it in games. Her trying to work out magic over time if it's possible in the setting, like learning Fire or Blizzard or something
Oathkeeper
Yeah! I figure it'd come easier to her since she has their memories at least?
nonabridged
Exactly, yep /o/ Canonically she did hide Donald's memories of spells at one point iirc so she's definitely seen that sort of stuff
nonabridged
Unless that was Castle Oblivion itself which I've never really bought since she seems to have her fingers in everything that's going on memory-wise there
