[no-negativity zone] I'm playing Super Mario 64 on my Switch and it's such a treat

The controls are a little loose because the Switch pro controller is a lot more precise and responsive than the N64 controller, but it makes the game a little easier in some ways, too

The textures have also been smoothed out, the text is a lot more crisp, and in general the game is still very much of its time but looks better.

Could Nintendo have done more with this collection? Absolutely. Do I still get the same rush of excitement I did the first time I fired up Super Mario 64? You fuckin betcha.
