[gaming] Finally got back to the FF7 remake and got through the whole thing. Spoilers.

That last part was certainly not in the original game

What I expected: Basically the original game with updated graphics and some dialogue rewrites
What I got: The original game's story but with major elements changed and making it clear that this isn't just a straight-up retelling of the original game

I found that interesting, especially when compared to other remakes, like the Spyro remakes or the Resident Evil remakes

This makes me wonder if they're going to either spare Aerith this time, or if they're going to tease us with the idea that she's going to live this time only for have her die anyway
