[family] okay so my family has always had a ... varying relationship with my uncle's family, mostly because of my aunt.

she used to be an outright awful person as well as, frankly, a complete idiot

one of those IRL trolls who has terrible views to begin with and enjoys riling people up with them

in recent years she has SIGNIFICANTLY changed for the better, probably because her kids somehow became decent people and presumably made her shape up

and now when she's pesky and annoying it's usually at least out of a genuine sense of wanting to be helpful

but unfortunately 1) she still seems to think she knows better than everyone else

and 2) ... there's no respectful way to say this, she is still just. not very bright.

this is all to say that she just texted me to ask about Dad's fever and instead of, say, asking how he is, she said:

"If he has an infection somewhere shouldn't they be giving him antibiotics that could help him destroy the infection ."

omg auntie YOU'RE RIGHT the doctors must not have thought of that (and it also wasn't literally in the last update I sent)
