Not complaining because I've always found the buy then augement to be an nessiary tome sink for anything not current

and that augments were the only ones that could be dyed too

I think it's an overall good change because a lot of people don't know about augmented gear

And exchanging for augmented gear was always unnecessary and tedious, especially for Ironworks which requires you to go to another map instead of ten steps to the right

i hit 70 with rdm today and was expecting to have to augment the scaevan set, so that was a real nice surprise, i half expected it would just be ironworks and shire gear considering that covers the free trial now

obvs actual augmenting is gonna be a thing for current expac gear and that's fine, but phasing it into base augmented is great

I mean we can fix the relic armor and assumingly we are going to go full Eureka and keep upgrading it

so maybe we get an easy mode relic with 10 less LV levels of the agumented tomestones and agrindy relic that's the usualy 5 less iv levelsthis time
