FB thing:
i kinda noticed that the "new" FB's news feed algorithm forces the same old posts over and over again. i had to switch to "Most Recent" just to see the updates from the anime pages i usually follow. D:

I've been trying to do this everytime I go to FB, but it seems like FB is trying its best to hide that option away from people with every update.

Faramond : yeah, the first time i saw it, it was in the very last one after expanding "see more" and then now it's somewhere in the middle. XD

I won't be surprised if after a year or so, that option will so hidden, people won't be sure it still exists.

Oh, the problem is if you switch accounts. It goes back to "force feed" mode, and you still have to hunt down the option to make it "most recent".

the "most recent" on the old version isn't really working from what i tested. it's still the same feed.

that's weird, though expected of FB's shenanigans.

IMHO, they're retiring the functions of the old facebook one by one.

I'm really old-fashioned like that. I prefer the early 2010's era FB.

I read something that says that it's not added because FB wants us to stay browsing the timeline. If there's a chronological mode, we'd clearly see where we left off the last time, and would stop browsing.

That's also why "most recent" is being phased out.
