After dealing with too many headaches that seem to correspond with wonky neck pain from sleeping, I'm attempting to get right with my spine and sleep on my back and I'm like...how do y'all do this

I did fall asleep fine, but it's so much less satisfying than sleeping on my stomach

and curling up the blanket over my head so I'm peeking out from a little cave

Anyway, it maybe helped? Not gonna fix everything in one night

my worried googling has reassured me that it's probably not a sudden brain tumor or aneurysm though as I'd be suffering much more. So uh, yay?

because these headaches aren't the worst ever, but they're unusually frequent tension-style headaches, and they tend to radiate from the back left part of my head, and painful neck wonkiness is also on the left side

: I've actually been using a pretty new pillow - ironically, one I got for stomach sleepers

but I started getting a little more headachey while I was at my parents, sleeping on old and busted pillows

so I think that may have exacerbated it

oooo i've had that. and getting the tension out of neck and shoulders after that takes ages :/

it also might be a rebound headache from too much ibuprofen, which is a bad habit, so I've cut myself off there too

yeah, I don't feel like they're actively tense? not more than usual anyway. But I have definitely been feeling the lower-neck/back twinges that come from my head turning to the side during sleep.

and tons of headache articles talk about how neck issues can creep up to become headache issues

And yeah, I had shit for a curve in my neck apparently when I saw a chiro and when he did all his twists and stuff, the curve showed better on the xray
