[books] I finished logging some of my old reading tracker entries into my new GSheets tracker... In total this is over 15 years of tracking the books I've read!

The first two years (2005 & 2006) are apparently incomplete, but even so it looks like I've averaged 51 books a year.

Though it would probably be more accurate to throw out the extremes of this range (107 in 2009 and 18 in 2012).

20-40 seems to be my current range.

My 2020 count currently stands at 28.

How many of those books I actually remember is the more important metric.

i've fallen out of the habit of reading in recent years so i really admire people who actually, y'know. read their books.

Kindle has helped a fair bit with my counts in the past few years.

yeah, kindle sounds pretty handy

That being said it's not like I have a shortage of books to read from my shelves, lol.

I miss real books but being able to change font size is nice

Also with Kindle I can read in the dark before bed and not have to turn off any lights.

the kindle has given me access to the local library without going there and also access to a larger state library, reading-life changing

I still have to try out the borrowing thing that Avie showed me ages ago before work murdered me...
