nothing like grad school app to make you cry

it's for strange reasons. a big one is my dad not being here, as usual, and also just worrying I'm not actually 'good enough' to work a job that involves helping kids

I mean, I'm already a teacher and have been told multiple times I really seem to care about my students, which I do, but it's just like that nagging in the back of my head all WHAT IF UR OWN ISSUES JUST MAKE IT WORSE FOR OTHERS

and yeah, I got issues!! but I've worked hard the past year to come to terms with stuff, seek help, etc.

I think so too!! I'm definitely still a WIP but at least I'm genuinely taking the steps now and putting in the effort instead of saying that as an excuse for my failing mh

I've obviously not seen much but even just what I have definitely looks like a lot of solid improvement, so I'd agree with that
