Biking is OP in Cities Skylines my Mega Manila city is... well I still can't layout roads well, but I plopped down random biking lanes so traffic hasn't been a problem. Citizens in this game prefer walking/biking if it's an option
Yeah, that's what I'm getting at--I'm wondering if there's Dutch-style bike lanes available. But then again, there's a mod for that. Besides, I doubt that affects how the game implements it (in the sense of calculating traffic etc.)
also I'm pretty sure this game is kinda fucked because industry won't ever have demand... I think it's the realistic population mod and realistic civilian lifetime mod... They just want to keep moving in because a house fits just the 1 family so they just keep wanting residential zones
> it's why it looks like that, because they're not allowed to cross the road of the roundabout because roundabouts need to keep going /o/ I get this~ But having to cross the roundabout just to get to another pedestrian roundabout is a bit redundant.
Besides, what I was suggesting (if doable in-game through mods or whatnot) is to have an outer ring pedestrian roundabout, with the access stairs kinda radiating out to the streets feeding into the roundabout. Think of a more rounded version of the EDSA/Cubao pedestrian overpass.
the problem is making a design as compact as the autobuilt ones takes a shitton of time. ... And that's with the "Move It!" mod that allows the player to just drag roads and everything around for their OCD desires
I use a ton of mods. I'm pretty sure the biking lane road is a mod actually
I get this~ But having to cross the roundabout just to get to another pedestrian roundabout is a bit redundant.
...
That is a deep slope I should've made it a gentler slope
