Today at Costco a worker said "Hi" and I replied "Good, thanks. How about you?"

I hate when I do things like this. I feel so stupid.

I cannot tell you how often I do this too LOL!

I'm glad I'm not the only one.

The ones that confuzzle me are;
Stranger: Hi, how are you?
Me: Good thanks, how are you?
Stranger: Good thanks, how are you?

I like when someone says like Happy Birthday and I am like You too! Welp...

A ton of customers do this. They probably appreciated that you responded and acknowledged their existence instead of straight up ignoring them!!
