[tangled] sitting here, a mess, because of the Tangled book's depiction of cass's anxiety

leila howland really said that Cass has deep seated anxiety that she isn't doing well enough and always tries to suppress it until the point that it hurts

god yeah there are a few scenes in Lost Lagoon where she has borderline panic attacks and it was just..... oof

when she hears that she's going to be rap's LIW she has to quietly excuse herself so she can run to the garden and have a panic attack where no one can see

and she like!! has to scream and is blacking out because she's forgetting to breathe
