[ffxiv] I've started running Oyuundai through the MSQ to see the changes, and while it's been a Hot Minute since I did these early quests and Roughly An Eternity since I did the Ul'dah starting quests in particular, it's still definitely been extremely streamlined.

I didn't set foot in the Silver Bazaar at all, I distinctly remember having to do some farming stuff for Papashan that got skipped entirely, there was like a singular quest at the bar, the whole Fufulupa thing got cut down a good bit, and I think there was more with the Sultansworn at the end in the original than there is now.

I'm up to the first three dungeons now and I can't quite remember if there was time-waster questing in between before, but now it's just straight up dungeon quest->dungeon quest->dungeon quest

Incidentally I had to go through 27 entire letters in the Moogle post. Looks like the old subscription length rewards are still grandfathered in on new characters, and also I somehow managed to get three different copies of the fistbump emote.
