[TOH] i'm kinda worried about the future of the show beyond s2 (especially for lumity) because i've noticed a paradox: the more hyped an episode is and the more the fandom likes it, the lower its ratings are

there's a pretty simple explanation for this: people get impatient and watch bootlegs rather than watch it on disneynow or on the tv

i'm guilty of this

HOWEVER ratings matter and people still need to watch it on TV or disneynow to give those sweet sweet ratings!

this is why adventures in the elements, which is one of the agreed on best episodes, has the lowest ratings

because it got leaked MONTHS ahead of its actual air date

same goes for enchanting grom fright, people watched the bootlegs asap as soon as they heard the good news and didn't watch the actual airings

i'm kinda worried that the disney execs will misinterpret this tbh
