A story I forgot to tell this week: some time last week I woke up half an hour into my workshift so I had to haul my exhausted ass out of bed and speedrun turning on my work computer and logging in

by the time I got everything sorted and was in the vr game I was testing, it was like an hour into the shift

and I entered the lobby where my coworkers were floating around and chatting with each other and one of them comes up to me and says, with utmost seriousness, "are you a bagel girl or a bun girl?"

to which I tell him that I woke up half an hour ago and can't process that question

but then he's like "but work started an hour ago..."

so obviously I was like "sshhhhhh"

and I faced no consequences for this

they asked me the question again later on in the shift and I told them I don't like bagels so I'm a bun girl automatically

this was the same day where my coworkers talked about bread for 6 hours straight
