OKAY I'M SORRY NOW I HAVE TO DO A THING BECAUSE I LOVE THE STORY OF TAMLIN. But basically Tamlin is this knight who's part of a fairie queen's court, and he's probably going to get murdered because every seven years the queen has to pay a tithe to hell because idk Christianity or whatever. But his pregnant girlfriend rescues him by pulling him off his horse

And holding onto him while the fairie queen turns him into like a lion and a wolf or whatever, until she finally turns him into a burning brand, and then the girlfriend puts out the fire and is like okay he's mine now
