continuing to think plotty thoughts for the 'death of the author archivist' AU from my other plurk

which consists of shit like Tim getting burned, literally, by drunkenly hitting on Jude Perry

but also realizing that if I make Basira the archivist post Jon death Tim would probably clue into Elias's plan for no other reason than it removes Elias being a sexist dick as the reason why he didn't promote Sasha

Tim Stoker just like "okay now this makes no goddamn sense" and unable to leave it alone

tho the other thing im grappling with is like. do i want the AU to be true to genre in terms of how I want to end it, because I feel like it'd be boring to rehash canon in terms of the apocalypse

but also that then begs the question of like. what's the ultimate outcome of Elias trying to make Basira and then Tim his chosen one and them trying to stop him
