AU my characters into your canons or vice versa?

I mean Yuna's already in Kingdom Hearts and the tough thing about Hadestown and UDaD are they're both already AUs of Greek mythology so there's that logistical complication but let's give it a shot

Yuna's already got her hero's journey ala the Odyssey or Argonautica going on so that's not too tough but who does she kill if not Yevon? A Titan? Who are the titans in the context of Hadestown? How do we implement the cyclicality of defeating Sin every decade or so?

Maybe let's pull a Percy Jackson and say the Titans are a-stirring and someone needs to put them down so Yuna and her band of heroes travels across the country doing tasks for the gods in order to gather their blessings

Cross-country trip from, say, the Florida Keys or the Caribbean to maybe the Redwood Forests, because that's where I'd put an ancient sleeping proto-god if I were to plunk one down in the continental United States

Still not sure about the whole Sin thing. Oh! Maybe it's like the regular sacrifices to the minotaur. Maybe that's what the cross-country trip is for, but it turns out whoops you have to beat the shit out of the god responsible once you find out that shit, it's a god responsible

Who also beats up Poseidon but probably doesn't kill him because that would cause big problems (as if her killing Yevon did not also cause big problems)
