[revue starlight] final episode

I might be forgetting part of the ten remaining minutes of the show

but if not the one thing that bugs me about the way the story is presented

is all the talk about the sin of seeking to grasp the star, and the refutation of it being along the lines of "I don't care if it's a sin, I'll grasp it anyway"

and not "why is that a sin"

"what have any of us done that merits this endless battle of sin and atonement"

"aside from maybe banana she fucked up a lot"

banana did nothing wrong

even then she didn't do shit until the giraffe showed up to talk shit

the point is the Stage Girls are being punished for doing something that doesn't really merit punishment by any reasonable metric

and I wish the story had focused on that a little more

they're seeking success from within a system designed to force them to seek success, then being called sinners for wanting it

this rewatch did the job of making me more hype for soleil

unfortuntaely I'm finishing it 2 day searly
