Aerosol boxes are made to be placed over a patient's head and upper body as a supplemental layer of protection in addition to PPE. These boxes should only be used while treating patients who have or are suspected to have COVID-19 after thorough assessment of the patient. These barriers should never be used as a replacement for PPE.
