I agree. Told off my neighbours smoking near the house window and surrounding areas. Kept telling them but kept smoking until I put up a sign it's not a smoking area. That made them think twice quick.
but I open my window at 2am to get some cooler air - we've had our hottest days of the year this week - and my living room fills with cigarette stench.
hate them they make me feel so icky when im just walking by on said hiking trail and I smell smoke so ruins the fun or out in the city.. just plan gross
check and see if there's anything like in OR that they have to be 10 feet away from the building it self... I can't recall if WA has it or if it did pass... I recall it was preposed. if so you can report them, if your place refuses to stop them.
Sadly it passed only for public.. your gonna need to report them to the complex owner. however if your lease said its a no smoking building... they have to follow it.
I hear you on this so much. None of my very close neighbors smoke, however, I have neighbor whose backyard is in the next development and every now and then someone smokes in the backyard and I can smell it in my living room! I really hate the smell of cigarette smoke its absolutely vile. And I'm an ex smoker.
Ugh this so much. People that used to live in the house next door would smoke between the houses. Theres like a 6ft space between the houses so it would all come in my bedroom window and I am highly allergic to the chemicals that are put in cigarettes.
Cigarette smokers are the reason joint smokers will never be permitted in public places. I am so cognizant that the smoke I produce can be an irritant and I'm doing all this crazy stuff to make sure, when I am in public, that it's not bothering anyone. Meanwhile people are smoking cigs right outside of buildings without a care in the world.
I didnt even realize it was the chemicals I was allergic to until a few years ago. I was outside a Red Socks game talking to a guy from Poland, with cigarettes from Poland, and I didnt even realize he was smoking until I looked over and saw he was
Now I enjoy smoke free air.
