I went for special items because Sam and Remus are unlikely to get their main things back (Ruby's knife and Remus's wand). And Remy probably won't be allowed his trenchcoat for a while.
Sam gets a False Idol, which is a one time use item that basically gives him a Charisma boost and makes him be worshipped as a god by anybody he talks to for five minutes. And isn't something that he can hand to somebody else, it's tied to him.
Remy got the Wax Fruit of Nourishment. Which provides 1 day of complete nourishment, enough to bring a character back to full health. Which, considering that he's in the group of hummingbird metabolisms, will be useful. Again, only a one time use thing, so he'll hold on to it. But still, useful.
Those last two can be given to others, but the Wax Fruit only works if Remy uses it himself or gives it to somebody else. It won't work if it's stolen.
