and I decided... you know what, i know that britney deserves so much better, i'm feeling her today, i'll stay on

but my carpool acted like he was Actively Dying with this choice

so my response was to just. turn up the volume. and keep her there for the whole song

anyway, when we're heading home, he's all like I'VE GOTTEN PAYBACK FOR WHAT YOU DID THIS MORNING

and he'd set one of his pre-set channels to, like. a fucking bluegrass channel lmao

I was like "lmao i've never said i hated bluegrass, dude" but he was adamant that anyone would hate it, unaware that I just need some sort of musical noise to keep my shit brain occupied while i zone out for like an hour

...and then thirty seconds in, he's like "oh god i can't take it" and switched the channel
