I feel like I'm doing something right when Aerith gives almost everyone she meets the equivalent of a Gay Panic moment

I think the only times this hasn't happened so far are when she's been all business or she's been talking to the kids

or the gays. She has run across a few and they are immune

I won't lie I think a part of why I tilt so hard into her gremlin behaviour is because for too many years I saw people playing her as the soft angelic flower type and I'm like "but...guys. gUYS"
