i am several days deep into an archive dive of Questionable Content and, on the one hand, it's somehow managed to keep me reading for 553 pages

but on the other, the comic has, at time of writing, 4305 pages total

so what i want to know is-- has the cast page just not been updated in forever, or are they trying to keep the later... direction?? of the story close to their chest

cause i happen to know through osmosis that this story has a whole Thing with robot/ai characters later on and there's barely a whisper of that on the cast page

prepares to look back and laugh at this statement later

though i guess it must've been somewhat recent, since bubbles is on it and she's a recent cast addition, but it's also missing several major characters

and yes, the characters i'm noticing missing are all robot characters

this is kinda how I feel reading el goonish shive over again bc egs is SO LONG I'm like holy shit. also he has such interesting commentary in the notes that I usually read those too, and It just makes it even longer lol.

I think he started multiple comics at some point so I can imagine QC just hasn't gotten the edge updates for things like that
