Plus, while she's a little 50/50 on being underestimated, it does give her the upper hand when people think she's just a cute little girl playing with the big boys, and she proves them wrong.

Nox : Yes, because at the end of the day, Ochako's real goal is to save people. In the beginning, it was a sort of selfish endeavor that she wanted to save up enough money for her parents to feel financially secure and happy but

while that hasn't changed, over time her world-view has broadened, and she's matured to a point where she can see past just the faces of her parents who need help, and can focus on everyone who does. She wants to be the sort of hero that people can rely on. Who can be a light in their darkest hour. Someone who puts smiles on peoples' faces.

If she gets paid, that's great, but the real reward is making sure people are safe.
