it's a mess here. Face masks are mandatory, and the governor says 1st time without is a warning and 2nd time is $250 fine. But he also said police can't detain anyone to warn them or cite them.

Basically, they are limited to recording your plate number, assuming they know which car is yours, and mailing it like a speeding ticket caught on traffic cam.

Yesterday someone figured out that you could mandate it locally, so problem solved if the local government is sane.
