A while ago I scored the first two hardy boys books at goodwill so I’m gonna read those

I still love how Frank lights up at the sight of Callie every time

God they used the word “presently” so much in this era of writing

I think I might just go with tonight being a reading night and not alternating chapters and tags

Thinking about just buckling down and finally finishing lights out

And I finally finish lights out!!!

It’s a dense read but not overly difficult to read or understand just weighty

I wouldn’t recommend it to most people in the current climate of the world

Gonna pick up I never promised you a rose Garden again for my sleep book

I love this book

I remember reading it as a teen and it being very fascinating look at mental illness

‘The boredom of insanity was a great desert, so great that anyone’s violence or agony seemed an oasis, and the brief simple moments of companionship seemed like a rain in the desert that was numbered and counted and remembered long after it was gone’

Should be able to finish it easily tomorrow

It was really good for a harlequin. Love Kate. Also loved that the lead was a Muslim man and Islamic culture was woven in beautifully imo

This demon next door audiobook is so bad and I think it’s cause it’s largely not well written
