character dads!!!!!

lance suffers from pokemon syndrome, in that his parents are probably dead? definitely dead. he was raised by his grandfather who is a supreme dragon clan weirdo. but lance loves him very much. even if his grandfather is somehow weirder than both clair and lance combined.

inej has a father who loves her very much, encourages her dreams, and wants teh best for his baby tyvm!!!! she is probably the only character i play that has a loving family who genuinely adores her. nothing but respect for papa ghafa.

roy also has dead parents and was raised by his paternal aunt. madame christmas is incredible.

zuko has a father who burned his face off for protesting to save his countrymen and also is the big bad of the series who wishes he was never born. ozai is the fucking worst.
