I had an excited doggo run up to me on my walk earlier and it brightened my day. Did not pet because the owner was too far away to check-in with on petting (and there’s the unfortunate risk of spreading COVID by touching an animal a carrying human has touched, if I wanna be a real pessimist)

anyone who’s been on my plurk for five minutes knows I love the bf’s cats to bits. I love that Luna will meow outside the door to be let in, come fall all over the bed and demand pettings, then eventually get bored and meow to be let out

people say cats are heartless and it’s not true, they just have boundaries and like attention on their terms, from humans they approve of. I can relate. I like that Luna feels the need to check in on her humans just to see what we’re all doing
