Plant peeps! Anyone else have an elephant bush succulent? Mine keeps dropping leaves and I have no idea why...

Pretty sure I'm watering it enough, because before I wasn't (I don't think). I was treating it more like a regular succulent but I guess it needs more water than that. But now I seem to water it every 3-4 days and it still doesn't look as healthy as I would like it to.

Also my jasmine plant's new shoots keep keeling over.

Has its sun exposure changed? I lost some shrubbery due to our oak tree growing like whoa and blocking sunlight.

The jasmine plant is in a pot. I keep it outdoors most of the time, except for at night and when we aren't at home because of the plant theft we had a couple of months back. I try to keep it in the sunny part of the window though.

As for the elephant bush nope, no changes. I noticed that after I started watering more it produced a lot more new growth, but it does seem to be losing its older leaves at faster rate than what I normally attribute to succulents.

I wonder if you could be overwatering the elephant bush? That can happen with a lot of plants. How often were you watering it when it was looking healthier?

Nutmeg I was only watering it once a week or so like I do the rest of the succulents when all of the leaves started falling off D:

Maybe it needs some fertilization....

I got a lot of new growth when I started watering more, which I guess makes sense since they say it may need more water in the summer. But it's perfectly healthy leaves that are dropping so I'm just confused lol.

I'd try going back to once or twice a week, see if that makes a difference?

Nutmeg I'll try that next lol. This is the most high maintenance succulent I've ever had.

AmadeoDubratt Fingers crossed lol. Like I said earlier, I've never had succulents be this high maintenance before so it's just strange.
