Tetra loses a bit of her edge when she gets semi-fridged. BotW Zelda spends the whole narrative semi-fridged but gets a complete narrative arc, agency, vulnerability and sass. No offense zo Tetra but BotW Zelda splits the arrow on the bullseye

After the Zelda reveal, Tetra gets to do jack and also shit, while botw!Zelda has the core emotional arc of the story and the reason she's semi-fridged is that she's fucking holding off the villain all on her own waiting for the cavalry (link) to arrive, rather than just being captured.

My biggest issue with botw!zelda is that her actress was clearly being told "no, no, more ethereal. more breathy and ethereal. you need to sound ethereal at all times" which seriously impacts her ability to emote, but the character herself is great.

Also NO SHADE ON TETRA clearly this is more about how the creators handled the character than the character themselves but it does mean that botw!Zelda gets the opportunity to rack up more points than Tetra did.
