though with the lockdowns enforced and this talk of riots happening in our area (which have all just been that, mind) who knows

Our curfew started at 8 but the police started closing access to the freeway at 5

You know... a perfectly normal time to be trying to get home

our curfew was supposed to start at 6, but they moved it down to 5... at 4

but like, most of that street was blocked off by the buses and a lot of the businesses (some that have reopened recently) were closed

My house is actually in one of the donut counties around the city and we even had retail stores closing early

yeah Portland has been incredibly hostile tonight (Maine Portland obv) my sister couldn't go to the protest but I'm glad she didn't. There's been police in riot gear and armed with bullets and tasers and shit.
