Hi. I'm not alive, but it flabbergasts me that the new American Civil War / Revolution / Dissolution of an empire nation has begun, and the news says not a peep.
I guess they're in denial stage of grief, don't want to spread it, or are being "silenced" but it makes me wonder about the Revolution. Did anyone know then?
Anyway, we've been devolving with more nails in the coffin since 2016. I scoffed at the "Virginia is going to start the second civil war" because here's the thing
For over a decade we've been begging for change, fixes, resolutions. COVID19 exposed how much racism, systemic double standards, and willingness to sacrifice the already disadvantaged the oligarchs and even middle class were.
From 2004 -> as I linked, Target kicked off a nation-wide program STARTING in MN called "Safe City" exacerbating and incentivizing police brutality and she, in particular, let them off scott-free.
Ahmaud Arbery's murder, the constant escalation of the police state since 9/11 (see also: linked to imperialism abroad affects home grown violence too) the private prisons with coronavirus, the ICE detainment deaths because of coronavirus
And this is harder than even the American Revolution -- ie; King George can't just go "Okay you're right, taxing you guys while you don't have any say in it was a bit hard on you, here, no taxes" and/or "have some meaningless representatives as if it'll do shit."
I'm not even scared about it now. BUT I AM SCARED -> for the rest of the world. Because Russia already has been trying to get this powder keg to kick off since the 70s, and escalated since 2010 (See a chance? TAKE that chance!)
And a lot of superpowers were.... let's say "holding back" on account of USA more than happy to use any excuse to fuck shit up (including now ourselves ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy)
The constitution was already being stretched thin and twisted, but now it's just a dead horse being abused and unless Republicans grow balls to go "No you asshole you're going further than King George you dumb wannabe daughter fucker" then there's nothing left to uphold wrt "law" or doctrine.
My Dad's was that the cops purposely tried to help him get off so that the establishment could perpetuate the black vs. white and pretend that was what the riots (see race riots? Even now...) were all about instead of fixing the systemic issues....

obvs) has been using FEMA to literally rob private hospitals who were told to smuggle/buy their own equipment, furthermore has been in bidding wars against states, and against other countries -> thereby well.... dissolving the USA as it stands.
4) The constitution was never updated to handle uh. Anything. So there was already a LOT OF fuckery with the courts, esp. SCOTUS --> see also: read Thom Hartmann's book on it, I cannot recommend highly enough
if people are so risk-averse they don't trust a guy proposing to do the things they know they want done because he used the word "socialist" to describe himself, they're not going to stage a revolution
You put too much faith in the people falsifying numbers, the media who is right now covering up the ongoing revolution (see OP statement!!!) and the idea that people have things left to lose
But because she only went into that post GG well it doesn't matter that she's a minority woman etc. (who also lives in MN, hence why she's willing to risk her life to go on the scene)
