I hate my insurance. Apparently having depression so bad that I cannot work isn't reason enough to make the treatment 'medically' necessary.

I guess it doesn't matter to them if women can actually do things.

Insurance companies are ghouls and cannibals.

My depression was seen as bad enough that my ADD wasn't even being looked at yet. [Anxiety too, but this treatment isn't approved for that.]

The treatment was because I cannot take normal psych meds because they ruin my ability to create [or feel anything at all]

Had to wade through a bunch of junk pages, then finally got to the message, which doesn't even explain what its denying, I had to look up the provider because the name wasn't familiar because I hadn't dealt with him at all.

At least my pretty blue mica powder is here for bathbombs

Wish it was just in the US this was a problem. My heart medication, which I need to take to survive and which I've been on for 3 years, randomly has become uncovered. I asked why, and they shrugged. However my synthetic opiates are covered. Interesting...

Wonder how much medical is, out of pocket... since insurance won't cover that either.
Fearyfox(Reyn)
At least that would help with my other health problems too.

coverage for any mental health issues is stupid and bad. Let's say you see your primary care doctor, tell them you're feeling bad. They say, "you should see a therapist." Ok, can you refer one? NOPE they cannot.

Or, "my meds are running out and the dtr says I can't skip a day" and the insurance company won't renew your prescription till 2 days before it expires.

it's all just so fucking stupid. My daughter suffers from anxiety and ADHD and if she forgets to renew a prescription it can set her back A LOT.

In theory our insurance has fairly decent mental health coverage - but considering the whole 'we don't cover outpatient testing until you meet some mystical amount.....' well, its not inproved since we first got it.
