When people get mad about other people "making their whole personality about their sexuality"

yeah they do....although gay people do too and it's really annoying? becaue they think it excuses them

I'm just like....has it occurred to you that if you find someone's personality or interests "annoying" maybe you shouldnt be friends with them?

putting the blame on them and demanding their change or acting like it's an "unhealthy obsession" is fucked up

and if it's not even someone you are friends with or know?

it's really bold to claim you know that person's personality and life enought o be commenting on it in the first place

ALSO making any claim about what YOU think constitutes being too interested in something is pretty dismissive of people who arent neuroatypical and night express interest or personality and life aspects differently than what you do

literally no one, gay or straight, seriously makes this complaint about cis/het people so why do we think this is a real, non-bigoted complaint?

I'm not even saying you're not allowed to be annoyed. you have the right be annoyed by anything, but it doesn't mean you're CORRECT or that your annoyance means someone else has to change. that's your problem to deal with
