I didn't know they were called hostas till I was an adult. we always called them snapdragons when I was a kid

they have a tendency to spread, so you may need to divide them in a year or two if you want to keep them in one place

these do still have flower buds that will make a snap/pop sound if you squeeze them at just the right time. ...reasons I loved these as a kid.
