however, one of the lighter impacts earlier on was definitely quite deliberate on the part of the dunnock who was assaulting the kitchen's glass door - possibly being territorial against its own reflection rather than coming after me.

We've been having issues on and off with the robins (or maybe just one robin, though I've seen more than one involved elsewhere). And it very much seems to be a, "attack evil reflection" behaviour. I think it's bad mostly because it's really annoying, and also, it's a useless waste of energy on their part.

I've told the hummingbirds that there is "plenty to go around, you don't need to fight about it..." but apparently they don't care...
