And now I remember music theory when there was this one person who would drive the teacher nuts because when asked for an interval, he'd either say "tritone" or something involving non-western notations like quarter-tones.

Trust me, I understand. I have arguments like this with Pandora. It's a Vocal Jazz station, and how come the last five songs had NO SINGING?
