Just putting this out here since I literally just saw it happen (and I don't think it was any of y'all, but I still want to say it just in case) - if there's a venting anonplurk, maybe just let the person vent?

they don't need sanctimonious assumptions of What Really Happened or The Bigger Picture or How They Should Actually Handle The Situation

(the person in question did id themselves and as far as I can tell isn't on my friendlist/timeline/dash/whatever so that's a relief)

I know personally when I put up a venting anonplurk it's so that I can sort of lance the boil, so to speak, so that if and when I address the person(s) in question it's without all that built-up venom behind it

and someone coming in to tell me that I'm wrong for doing so isn't helping the situation.

I know I can't speak for the OP-Anon, but I definitely label my anons as 'venting' or 'advice' and sure don't appreciate preachiness in the venting ones (or the advice ones, but it's at least sort of asked for there, a little)

anyway, that's all I have to say on the matter.
