We would like to address some things and clear up some misunderstandings that have arisen lately. This thread might be a little long but please read all of it if you can, it will probably answer some of your questions! (2/12)
Firstly, as you may have noticed by the wording, we are MULTIPLE PEOPLE. "Nobu Nakamura" is a project we work on together as a group of friends, so there is no "one" person behind it. (3/12)
Some people seem to be thinking we are Lewis/Inaiko, which is understandable, but we want to clarify that that's not true. We do not plan on revealing our identities because... we don't really want to. It's more fun like this. But we aren't Lewis, so don't worry about that.(4/12)
Secondly, about the photos and names, they're just stock photos and names we took from Weebly's default "meet our team" page. We aren't pretending to actually be these people at all, we just needed some form of identity/brand for the account and thought this would be funny.(5/12)
Thirdly, we would like to make it VERY clear that everything we do is FOR FUN. We don't intend to cause any harm, and we never meant to genuinely trick people into believing the demos are official in any way. We thought it was pretty clearly fake, but apparently not. (6/12)
If you listen to the very first track posted in the account it literally says "this is fake", so we literally said it ourselves. The whole thing is just a joke so there's no need to be mean to Nobu about it, we're just making cool things for fun. (7/12)
Fourthly, everything we use, from the VSQx to the art, are made by ourselves, except, obviously, for the original songs, which are all appropriately credited. We aren't stealing any content. This wasn't something a lot of people asked, but we still felt it was important. (8/12)
And finally, the last and most important point, is that we'd like to apologize for the fake Japanese. This account was intended to be a one-time thing, and we went with the Japanese descriptions so it would look more official. (9/12)
This whole thing was a joke, so initially, we thought it was fine, but eventually, we realized that it is insensitive. We don't want to upset anyone, therefore we have decided to refrain from responding to comments and messages, at least in Japanese. (10/12)
The descriptions for the posts will still be in Japanese to keep it standard, but we will try to keep it as short and accurate as possible instead of throwing things into Google Translate. Again, we are very sorry if we upset anyone, that was not our intention. (11/12)
